Radiation Protection in Dental Intraoral Radiography
Image Quality Reference Level (IRQL) and Dose Reference Level (DRL)

What makes this phantom unique is its ability to replicate dental x-ray exposure to the human jaw, jawbone, and teeth. It is the only technology that permits analysis about actual human jaw and teeth. It is simple, reproducible, consistent and it is easier than taking patient intraoral images (shown in the picture on the lower right circle). It takes less than 10 minutes to set up (as illustrated in the left circle), expose, review, and then digitally save the resulting images (as in the upper circle). The phantom is durable and constructed as an integrated device with the user being able to quickly adjust to film, full digital or slim digital detector design. The easy to follow "User Manual” guides the user with step by step instructions and illustrations. The design results in fast, accurate, and consistent application.

Dr. Nosil is certified Inspector in BC, Canada and Bermuda. IQ(D)P is used in Colombia, Croatia, etc.
About usWith minimal training, dental x-ray operators introduce IQ(D)P and perform it without productivity loss. The gain is providing dentists with early notification of malfunction of the x-ray system, before it is noted on clinical images.

We have documents from legal patent wording, simple manual, advanced manual, presentation papers, and slides etc. We offer Schema as a theory of phantom imaging in the form of model.
Dr. Nosil has been developing Dental Phantoms for over 22 years and has applied the feedback to create new versions. Our phantom provides a consistent diagnostic images while at the same time achieving the lowest possible radiation dose.
